I’m not very confident or experienced with computers, so can I still run a website?
Yes. This is a complete package. Not only do we do as much of the work as possible for you, we also run the site and keep it going after it is launched. If you want to give us a call now for some reassurance, its FREE on 0800 025 8011. For extra piece of mind, we then include unlimited telephone support throughout the build of the site, and indefinitely after that. You really are in safe hands.
I already have a domain name, so can I use it with a B and B 123 website?
Yes. If you already have a domain name B and B 123 will move it over for you, including email addresses, FREE of charge*. If you don’t already own a domain, one is included FREE with all packages.
Do I get any email accounts with my website?
Yes. We provide emails with each package. Emails can then be accessed through a POP account using Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.
Can B and B 123 find photographs for my site or do I need to find my own?
Yes. As the website is all about your business, it is much better to have your pictures on the pages. However, if you would prefer to use some of our photographs that are within the site design, you can, and they are FREE of charge.
I have photographs from a digital camera, but I don’t know how to change the size of them to fit the website, so can we still use them?
Yes. Our designers will crop, resize, optimise, add borders, and manipulate the images to work in your website, and its all included in the price. Simply take the pictures, send them to us, and we’ll do the rest!
I don’t have a digital camera, so all of my pictures are ‘real’ photographs. Can you work with them?
Yes. We can scan the images for you, then the team will crop, resize, optimise and generally manipulate them to fit into the design. Just send them to us and we’ll do it. As the scanning process is time consuming, there is a small price to do this, which can be seen in the options section.
Can I find out who is visiting my website?
Yes. We will add a powerful statistics package to your website so you can find out lots of information about who is visiting, such as which pages they visit, how many hits per day, where they were referred from, and much more. This is a vital tool to see which areas of your marketing are working for you to see what is and isn’t effective and where your money is best spent.
What is hosting, and do I need it?
Yes. Hosting is what allows people to see your website once it has been launched. Your website is placed on a computer (called a web server) which is attached to the internet with a large and fast connection, and runs 24/7. Our web servers are continually monitored and have an impressive 99.9% uptime. Without hosting, your website cannot be seen by anyone.
